Good business performance revolves around its people and this is embraced in the design of D'Arcy's refurbished studio, with a sense of fun and frankness that expresses the work ethos. Accordingly, transparent pitch rooms are placed in the middle of the studio, a clear indication of an open, spontaneous and engaging personality profile.

Ceilings were removed to expose an industrial volume and the studio floor stripped down to raw concrete on which seagrass rugs define break areas between the office's functional groups.

Visitors immediately sense the relaxed, approachable character in detailing such as the zen-like pond, developed out of a disused stairwell, rustic recycled timber walls and a glass louvered verandah that frames the city skyline view.
